Our Practices

Regenerative Farming

Our cow herd is maintained on pasture and hay. We utilize rotational grazing in which the pasture is sectioned into smaller sections and the cattle spend up to a week in each of the smaller sections this allows the grass more time for recovery and re-growth before a section is grazed again. We harvest all of our own hay to feed the cattle when they are not out grazing in the pasture. The cow herd also is offered a high-quality free choice mineral at all times to make sure their dietary needs are met.

Our freezer beef is raised on pasture until they reach approximately 500-700 lbs when they are weaned and acclimated to our grain growing and finishing rations which gives our beef premium flavor, marbling, and tenderness. Since cattle are ruminants they are still offered hay with their grain to support their digestive health. Our grain rations are developed by a nutritionist to ensure all their dietary needs are met.
